Looking for a place to have breakfast? Do you miss Mom’s cooking? Check out Ivy’s Cafe at the Imperial Auction Market.
Ivy’s Cafe, under the management of Anne Iverson, opened Monday for business in the sale barn’s dining room.
Iverson is offering a country breakfast such as ham and egg omelets and breakfast sandwiches, and hearty lunches such as chili cheesesteak sandwiches, hamburgers and a lunch special such as roast beef and corn.
Ivy’s Cafe is open 6 a.m to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Iverson said the first breakfast drew about 40 people. “I think everything worked out well,” she said. “We got everything out fast.”
The dining room, which Iverson is renting, seats 80. Iverson hopes to fill it and send everyone away full.
She said take-out orders may be placed by calling her at (402) 525-7621.
