CCS third at One Act districts PDF Print E-mail

The Chase County Schools (CCS) One Act team came in third at district competition at Southern Valley School Monday. Edging CCS out were Ravenna in first place with “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Southern Valley in second with a parody of “The Hunger Games”—”The Actor Games.”
Ravenna will represent the district at state competition, as it did last year.
Honored for outstanding performances at the competition were Emma Bauerle, Claire Kuenne and Tagan Mays.
Of the One Act competition, Coach Jill Bauerle noted “Our students’ performance was great and well received by the audience. I am proud of our students and our One Act season.”
The cast performed “The Chronicles of Jane: Book 7.” Jane is a teenager with many groupies who always surround her, stroking her ego and providing the set and scenery for the play.
