At the Nebraska Music Educators Association (NMEA) state conference last week in Lincoln, the Concordia University Chamber Choir performed a concert for attendees.
Tapainga Kahle, a Concordia freshman from Imperial, is a member of the elite chamber choir.
Groups desiring to perform at the conference must audition and be selected by a panel of judges. The elite Chamber Choir consists of 12 singers, with four of them freshmen, one of which is Kahle. Director of the group is Kurt von Kampen.
She is the daughter of Rev. David and Meranda Kahle, and was a 2014 Chase County Schools graduate.
During high school here, Kahle was a member of the NMEA-sponsored All-State Choir her junior and senior years.
