|Frasier and Callahan on high school rodeo circuit this spring|

CCS sophomore Shelby Frasier and Wauneta-Palisade senior Jesse Callahan are hitting the road this spring on the Nebraska High School Rodeo circuit.
They hope to accumulate points to qualify for the state finals in late June.
Frasier competes in the barrel racing while Callahan steer wrestles and has just resumed riding saddle broncs.
In rodeos this spring, Frasier has picked up first, fifth and sixth place finishes while Callahan has collected a first and a third in the steer wrestling.
At the April 26 McCook rodeo held indoors at the Kiplinger Arena there, Callahan brought down his steer in 5.85 seconds to finish third against a first place time of 5.6 seconds.
In Hyannis May 2, Callahan led the bull doggers with a 6.2-second effort to claim first.
Frasier finished fifth in the April 25 performance at McCook with an indoor time of 16.286 seconds against the first place time of 15.638.
At Burwell on May 9, Frasier took 6th with a time of 18.908 seconds versus the winning time of 18.46 seconds.
At Atkinson Sunday, May 17, Frasier captured first with a time of 16.023 seconds.
Frasier is the daughter of Deb Frasier of rural Benkelman and Callahan is the son of Tammy and Sid Bartels of Imperial.
