|Class of ‘09 readies for graduation exercises|

Thirty-eight members of the Class of 2009 will walk across the stage at Chase County Schools Saturday. Graduation begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Longhorn gymnasium.
Ushering in the class will be the school band, directed by Richard Munson, playing “Pomp and Circumstance.”
The Invocation will be given by Class President Kim Brophy, followed by a welcome from High School Principal Mike Sorensen.
Schyler Heathers and Morgan Strand are Valedictorians, and each will speak at the ceremonies.
Following several musical presentations will be the Class of 2009 “Reflections” video.
Presenting diplomas will be Superintendent Matt Fisher and board members Tom Gaschler and Penny Strand, both who have children in the class.
Kerry Swanson as Salutatorian will give the benediction, followed by the recessional, “Masterpiece Fanfare.”
Escorts for the ceremony are Paula Leibbrandt, Adrianne Pursley and Chevy Smith.
Ushers will be the junior class members of National Honor Society.
Each graduate will have six reserved seats.
