The Chase County Fair Board has added another free family-friendly show to the line up for the 2014 Chase County Fair. Keith West will perform his Las Vegas style magic and illusion show in the open air pavilion.
West’s website says, “Magic is all about doing the impossible. And that’s exactly what you get...”
Fair board members were first introduced to West when he performed at the Nebraska Association of Fair Managers conference in Kearney.
West says parents should be sure to bring a camera to the event. He regularly involves kids from the audience in the act.
“We want kids to go home with a childhood memory,” explains West.
He and his partner Kitty Marie will perform some of the biggest and best tricks in the trade. He said those at the fair can expect to see audience members levitate, lay on spikes of nails and witness his ever popular candy box trick. Some of his shows can only be seen performed by a handful of performers worldwide.
The free show will be offered three times during the fair, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
The performer specializes in grand illusions and will cater his presentation to the crowd. So, those who stop by to enjoy the show more than once will continue to be entertained, he said.
