Wood finishes rodeo season 10th in poles PDF Print E-mail

Kelsey Wood completed her high school rodeo career at this year’s state finals in Hastings.
Wood qualified for the finals in both the barrel racing and pole bending.
She went into the finals ranked 7th in the pole bending.
After knocking down some poles in the first-go, she came back in the second go to finish with a 23.131, good for 13th in the go-round.
With her season ranking and performance in the second go, Wood made the finals short go.
In the finals, she and her horse turned in a time of 22.98, which put them fifth in the go-round.
For the season, she finished 10th in the poles and 28th in the barrels.
She also competed in team roping and breakway roping during the season.
