Frenchman Valley Coop’s newest convenience store in Imperial opened for business June 16.
T-Junction is located at the corner of Highways 6 and 61, in the former T-Junction and Bart’s Corner building.
Gas and diesel had been sold by credit card prior to that time and now may be paid for with cash inside the convenience store.
The store will stock breakfast sandwiches and breakfast pizzas, as well as F’Real ice cream and Picadilly pizza.
In addition to the usual convenience store items for sale, scratch and lottery tickets will be sold.
After a liquor license is obtained, according to co-manager in charge of operations Candy Druse, beer will eventually be sold.
Al Roscigno is also a co-manager in charge of operations for the Coop. Roxane Miller is the on-site manager, with nine other employees at the new convenience store.
T-Junction is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The telephone number is (308) 882-7792.
