Imperial native Tim Strand has opened InBalance LLC, a bookkeeping and payroll consulting firm in Imperial.
Strand said his business will be geared toward small businesses and farmers. “It’s for those people who don’t want the headache of doing the books themselves and don’t want to pay accountants’ prices,” he said.
Strand will also provide financial reports and receipt archiving. At present he will work out of his house in Imperial and will travel to his clients’ businesses.
The 2002 Chase County High School graduate obtained a degree in business administration with a minor in communications from Nebraska Wesleyan in 2006.
He was employed by Fiserv in Lincoln for seven years, a banking software company. It was then that he became interested in bookkeeping and conversions.
Strand married wife Gina last summer. He was a salesman for Lamar Fertilizer the last eight months.
He had planned to start up InBalance as a part-time business, but decided to devote all his energy to it as a full-time business.
Strand may be reached at (402) 882-0066, or at inbal This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
