Rehearsals are turning into fast mode for the Chase County Schools’ production of “Comic Book Artist.” The one-hour comedy is scheduled for April 29 and May 1 in the school auditorium.
“Our cast will bring this comic-book genre to life with this hilarious action-packed superhero saga,” said director Jill Bauerle.
She encourages families to come and enjoy an evening of fun relaxation. The play will appeal to all ages with its melodramatic flair.
When a villain is unleashed at Wonder Comics, it’s up to Stanley Leonardo, a janitor at the company, to lead superheroes into battle against the dastardly character.
The play is free to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. both nights. Free will donations will be accepted to cover the cost of the scripts and royalties.
