Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke is the place to be for the season opener this Saturday, April 12 at 5 p.m.
The frost-buster season opener will feature BST Tour races including mods, stocks, sport mods and late models, as well as hobbies and dwarfs.
Limited free admission tickets are available for the season opener from sponsors Cobblestone Inn & Suites, S&W Auto/NAPA, Wolf Auto and Holyoke Enterprise in Holyoke; Kurtzer’s in Haxtun; and Trustpoint Insurance in Imperial, Neb. Supplies are limited, with tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additionally, Raceway coordinator Joe Bellm reminds spectators of the $5-off coupon that ran in the schedule inserts in the Holyoke, Haxtun, Imperial, Wray and Julesburg newspapers last week.
The coupons may also be found on the phillipscounty raceway.com or bstracing.com websites. Spectators can also find the coupons by liking the Raceway Facebook page. Those coupons are good for either the April 12 or April 26 races.

Some exceptions to the  Saturday schedule include a Thursday and Friday, July 3-4 Salute to the King Farewell Tour with Steve Kinser and a Monday, July 21 kickoff to the Phillips County Fair with NAS-CAR star Kenny Schrader.
Every race of the PCR season will consist of all four International Motor Contest Association divisions—modifieds, stock cars, sport mods and hobbies.
Every night will also have a main attraction addition consisting of sprint cars, late models, midgets, mini sprints or dwarf racing.
