The Frenchman Valley Ducks Unlimited (DU) Chapter has an evening of fun planned for its 11th annual banquet Saturday night. The public is invited to participate in games, a meal and auctions at the Imperial City Gym.
The evening will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $55 for a couple and $45 for a single, which includes a DU membership.
Children under age 15 will be admitted free of charge if accompanied by an adult.
Games for children will be going on during the social hour and bidding for items such as a woman’s Bulova watch in the silent auction will also be held at that time.
Items during the live auction, to be held following the meal, include decoys, a .308 rifle and the Bronze of the Year by Ronnie Wells.
Proceeds benefit DU continental wetland conservation projects in Nebraska, across the U.S. and beyond, according to co-chair Kelen Fortkamp.
Pat Baughman, senior regional DU director from Chapman, Neb. will speak during the evening.
Tickets may be purchased at the door or from one of the board members: Fortkamp, Jason Speck, Adam Vlasin, Kendall Dubas, Jeremy Vlasin, Ryan Wisnieski or Jared Sharp.
