Lenten prayer luncheons kick off this week

A series of Lenten prayer luncheons at three local churches start today (Thursday) in Imperial at Crossroads Wesleyan.
The luncheons from 12 noon to 12:50 p.m. will also be held on two upcoming Thursdays, March 27 and April 3.
Pastors or ministers from each of the three churches, Crossroads Wesleyan, St. Patrick’s Catholic and the United Methodist, will have a part in all three luncheons.
Lunch each Thursday will be a vegetable soup variety made by parishioners of the host church. Free will donations each week will go to the Chase county Ministerial Fund.
Here is the schedule for each week:
March 13—Host Crossroads Wesleyan Church in Great Room. Pastor Todd Burpo, welcome; Fr. Bernard Lorenz, message; Pastor Valera Heydenberk, prayer.
March 27—Host St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in parish hall. Fr. Lorenz, welcome; Pastor Heydenberk, message; Pastor Burpo, prayer.
April 3—Host United Methodist Church. Pastor Heydenberk, welcome; Pastor Burpo, message; Fr. Lorenz, prayer.
The public is welcome to attend any or all of the Lenten luncheons.
