Council moves meeting due to Monday holiday PDF Print E-mail

Due to the President’s Day holiday on Monday, the regular Imperial city council meeting was moved two days later.
The meeting is now set for Wednesday, Feb. 19, starting at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.
City Clerk/Administrator Jo Leyland listed the following agenda items as of Wednesday morning:
Members of the rural fire board plan to attend the meeting to discuss the 1991 agreement between the city fire district and rural fire district.
The council will discuss designating a specified downtown area for Bucket TIF (Tax Increment Financing) with the funds gained to be directed to the city’s match for a downtown revitalization grant. Community Development Director Jason Tuller brought up the grant possibility at the council’s Feb. 3 meeting.
Also on the agenda is a public hearing for Broken Arrow Cellars’ request for two liquor licenses, a Class L Craft Brewery License and a Class YK Farm Winery and Catering License.
Administrator Melissa Larson will be back to visit with the council on health insurance for Manor and Parkview/Heights employees.
