Due to the road conditions last Friday, the Longhorn wrestling team was forced to opt out of the wrestling tourney in Curtis.
Late Friday evening, Head Coach Matt Vlasin was able to get the wrestlers into the Arapahoe tournament on Saturday. With only one week before districts, it was important to get in as many matches as possible.
All three wrestlers got in some quality mat time and returned home with a first, second and fifth place finish.
Austin White dominated in the 145 pound bracket. White pinned his first four opponents and won a major decision over Colton Lammers of Pleasanton to take first place.
Khris Kuhlmann took second in the 160 pound class. Kuhlmann went 2-1 on the day losing only to Tanner Wernsman (30-2) of Arapahoe.
In the 132 pound division, Hunter Dillan finished the day 1-4 to take fifth place.
