When the Chase County wrestlers take to the mats in Ogallala Saturday, it will have been three weeks since the last competitive matches.
Action starts at 9 a.m. Wrestling will take place in two different locations. Chase County will compete in the high school gym with four to five other teams. The remaining teams will compete in the downtown auditorium.
Each site will have a round robin format between all of the teams. When the round robins conclude, the team with the best record at each site will face off for first and second.  The teams with the second best results for the day pair up, continuing to the worst record teams facing off.
On Jan. 14, the junior varsity wrestlers will travel to Perkins County for a 3 p.m. tournament.
The Chase County Invitational will follow on Jan. 18 starting at 9 a.m. This will be the only home meet of the year for the Chase county wrestlers so come out and show your support.
