FCCLA students attend state convention PDF Print E-mail
    Seven Chase County Schools students joined about 1,250 delegates from 109 chapters for the annual Nebraska Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Leadership Conference in Lincoln April 6-7.
    FCCLA is an organization of Family and Consumer Science students. It is the only youth leadership organization with family as its focus.
    During the conference, Celia Serna competed in the Recycle & Redesign category of the STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) events. She transformed a pair of jeans into a purse to qualify for the competition.
    Receiving recognition for the completion of Power of One projects were Brittney Reichard, Toni McDaniel and Raquel Castillo.
    High point students for the Chase County Chapter were Sarah Garrison, Josh Richmond, Nubia Ramirez and Celia Serna.
