Students chosen for FFVF trip PDF Print E-mail

After an interview process Nov. 20, eight students were chosen to participate in the Chase County Chapter of Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge (FFVF) trip to Washington, D.C. and Valley Forge, Penn. next spring.
The eight will also receive scholarships for a portion of the trip.
Chosen following the submission of an essay and the interviews were Korey Krutsinger and Jeff Dickey, 80 percent scholarships; Travis Luhrs, alternate for 80 percent scholarship; and Emma Mollendor, Isaac Sorensen, Ryan Moline, Dan Sullivan and Mindy Castle, 40 percent scholarships.
Sponsors for the trip will be Jeff and Diane Kuenne. The trip will encompass history and patriotism seminars and sites April 22-27.
Twelve students applied for the trip. Judges were Sheila Stromberger, Jacci Brown, Linda Nelson and Stephanie Stromberger, who is also chair of the interview process.
