Interviews for FFVF trip next week PDF Print E-mail

High school students in Chase County who are interested in applying for acceptance on a trip to Washington, D.C. and Valley Forge, Penn. should mark Nov. 19 and 20 on their calendars.
Applications for the Chase County Chapter of Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge (FFVF) trip are due Tuesday. Interviews begin at Chase County Schools (CCS) in Imperial Wednesday at 9 a.m., according to Chairman Stephanie Stromberger.
Applications are available at CCS and Wauneta-Palisade schools.    
During the interview process, judges question applicants and judge their essays. The essay topic this year is “If You Could be an Observer of an Event in U.S. History, What Would it Be?”
The trip, which focuses on history and patriotism, is scheduled for April 22-27, 2014.
