Sunday’s weather was perfect for a youth football contest.
It was much better than the rainy day two weeks earlier when the annual Punt, Pass & Kick (PP&K) contest was first scheduled. The rescheduled date was a good pick.
Thirty-two boys and girls turned out for the contest organized locally by the Imperial Jaycees at the football field.         First place winners in each age group, boys and girls, will advance on to the state contest this Saturday in North Platte. The Jaycees are paying for the local youths’ entry fees at North Platte.
Youths punted, passed and kicked a football for both distance and accuracy in five age divisions. Boys and girls competed separately.
Here are the results by age division.
