Students represent CCS at state fair PDF Print E-mail

Chase County Schools (CCS) placed third in the School Sweepstakes at the Nebraska State Fair recently. The trophy that students received represented the total points scored by individual students at CCS.
In addition, Ashton Robinson received a trophy for second grade, Addison Robinson for first grade, and Morayah Cupp for fourth grade for overall points.
In the NEBRASKAland Foundation Showcase, 12 students’ work was picked by the NEBRASKAland Foundation commmittee and Nebraska First Lady Sally Ganem to be displayed at the capitol next March 1, Statehood Day.
Three of those students are from CCS and will eat lunch at the Governor’s mansion in late February. They are Ashton Robinson, Morayah Cupp and Landree McNair.
All first place winners won a $100 college scholarship and a plaque. All second place winners won a $50 college scholarship and a plaque. All third through sixth place winners received rosettes.
Kindergarten teacher Arlys Cupp organized the students’ participation in the Nebraska State Fair.
