ICE arrests two in Chase County PDF Print E-mail

Officers with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested two men in Chase County Friday, Aug. 9.
According to Imperial Police Chief Rob Browning, one individual was arrested in Imperial and one in Wauneta.
Browning said one of the individuals was arrested for alleged fraud of Social Security documents. The other was arrested for being a prior deported criminal.
An official with the ICE office in Omaha said both cases had been turned over to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for criminal proceedings.
Comment from the Attorney’s office was not available nor were the names of the detainees prior to press time.
