Dig out your notebooks and cameras, and prepare to be delighted with the first annual Garden Tour sponsored by Adams Bank & Trust this Saturday.
The tour encompasses seven gardens in Imperial, which will be available for viewing from 8-11 a.m.
Owners Tim and Rhonda Sutherland, Rich and Lynn Meyer, Art and Eleanor Wagner, Ron and Lou Hegwood, DeMarys Cooper, Mitch and Sara Stretesky and Mike and Jane Moreland will be on hand to share their personal gardening experiences.
Entry to the tour is $5 payable at Adams Bank or at any of the garden sites. A map of the tour given at time of payment is the entry ticket to the gardens.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Chase County Food Pantry.
Organizer Laura Gaschler is hoping to make the tour an annual event. If anyone is interested in having their garden on the next tour, they are asked to contact Gaschler.
