Mystery writer Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” will be presented at the Chase County Schools auditorium this Friday and Saturday.
Set in a guest house outside of London, the play involves a tangle of guests stranded by a blizzard. One guest dies, and the rest fall under suspicion for murder.
Newlyweds Mollie and Giles Ralston have just opened Monkswell Manor when the play begins. How long will they be able to keep it running, or will the murder close it, along with their dreams?
The play will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets may be obtained by contacting a cast member or by leaving a message on the school’s voice mail Extension 219.
Tickets in advance are $4.50 for adults and $3.50 for students and senior citizens.
The cast includes:
Bonnie Cochran as Mollie Ralston, Chevy Smith as Giles Ralston, Mark Gaschler as Christopher Wren, Elizabeth Morse as Mrs. Boyle, Josh Richmond as Major Metcalf, Jacqueline Smith as Miss Casewell, Bryan Bischoff as Mr. Paravicini and Jacob Boggs as Detective Sergeant Trotter.
