Don’t know a coneflower from a cotoneaster? Is your salvia sizzling? Or are your hostas miniaturizing themselves?
Tour gardens in Imperial and talk with the owners about the proper care of Russian sage, Linden trees and roses during the Adams Bank & Trust First Annual Garden Tour Aug. 3.
Coordinator Laura Gaschler said there will be between eight and 10 gardens on the tour, from 8-11 a.m.
For $5, payable at the bank or the homes, participants will be given a map of the gardens. Owners will be on hand to answer questions.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Chase County Food Pantry.
