Cold weather doesn’t deter egg hunters PDF Print E-mail

It rained, it blew and it was cold Saturday during the Eagles/Imperial Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt. Originally scheduled for April 4, it had been moved because of a snowstorm. Those who ran to pick up eggs stuffed and “laid” by the Eagles Club included, at left, Carter Leibbrandt of Imperial in his heavy rubber boots;

and John Vogt of Imperial and son Kaden, 2, below right, in his camouflage gear.

At bottom left Ellie Siegel, 1, of Lincoln, whose grandmother, Cheri Burke of Imperial, had to restrain her from starting the hunt early. (Republican photos)
