Area players gearing up for Saturday’s all-star volleyball match PDF Print E-mail

Chase County’s Bethany Sorensen will be among the West Team players going up against the East Team Saturday in the 22nd annual Sertoma All-Star Volleyball Classic.
The match gets underway at 7 p.m. CT at the McCook Community College Event Center.
Each team will have four practices this week in preparation for the all-star match.
Coaches include Rachel Peter of Hayes Center and Stephanie Williams of Dundy County/Stratton for the West, and Corrine Muenchau of Eustis-Farnam and Kim Barnett of Southwest for the East.
Proceeds from the match are used by the McCook Area Sertoma Club to help with speech and hearing sponsorships. This year’s will be used for a hearing loop system for the new McCook Community College Event Center.
