Last day of school a good day for ice cream PDF Print E-mail

Last Wednesday, May 22, marked the final day of the 2012-13 school year at Chase County Schools and the Imperial Chamber of Commerce treated students with free ice cream at the Great Plains Communications’ gazebo on main street. Enjoying the treat, above from left, were Caleb Weiss, Juan Venegas and Zach Space. Dipping up the cones were Chamber members, below from left, Carla Colton, Sue Moore and Kim Taylor. The chamber reports 164 youths registered to win one of the 55 give-aways that afternoon donated by Pinnacle Bank, First Bank & Trust, 21st Century Equipment, Mid-Plains Community College, City of Imperial, Platinum T-shirt and Embroidery and Adams Bank & Trust. Frenchman Valley Coop donated the ice cream and a bouncy house on site was provided by Great Plains Communications. (Republican photos)
