Driver’s Ed deadline nears PDF Print E-mail

There is room for about 10 more students in the driver’s education program at Chase County Schools (CCS) this summer. As of Monday 40 students had signed up, while the capacity is 50.
There will be two sessions offered this summer, either June 5-14 or June 17-26.
In addition to the classroom instruction from 8-11:30 a.m. each day, students will also spend several hours behind the wheel with instructor Gary Johnson of Tryon.
Registration is due by Friday, May 17. The cost is $150 for CCS students and is due no later than May 24 to the superintendent’s office.

Students must be 14 years old by Oct. 15, 2013 to take the summer driver’s ed class.
