Auction for a good cause PDF Print E-mail

A quilt and needlework auction held by the Friends of the Library at Lied Imperial Public Library Saturday raised just under $800 for the library. About 20 people participated in the auction, which sold quilts, material, needlepoint kits and much more. Above, auctioneer Marlon Kunnemann donated his time for the event. He said he learned a lot about quilts and terms such as “fat quarters,” which refer to certain amounts of material. (Republican photo)
