Showcasing Our Place at Chase PDF Print E-mail

Chase County Schools put out the art (and science, history and more) during the “Showcase Our Place at Chase” Arts Fest last week. The public had a chance to do a “crawl” through the school, via a checklist, to see the displays classes had set up. Those included “Down on the Farm” with a kindergarten class, “Little Towns” with a fourth grade class, “Literature Lockers” with a sixth grade class, human anatomy posters, story cereal boxes and more. Western Day was celebrated in the cateteria, at right. Above, kindergartners changed from western to medical garb in the afternoon, as in Arlys Cupp’s class. Below, displays such as a “Nebraska Fact Bulletin Board” were prominent in the hallways. Co-Chairs Lindsey Tomaso and Virginia Harford hope to continue the Arts Fest in future years.
