Parents urged to keep eye on testing schedules PDF Print E-mail

Students at Chase County Schools are coming up on some important days. Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11 will be taking the NeSA, or Nebraska Standards Assessment, tests beginning the end of March.
Both Elementary Principal Pat Lane and Secondary Principal Mike Sorensen want to stress the importance of student attendance during the testing. School results often are determined partially on attendance.
In addition, the principals remind parents that students need to get a good night’s sleep before each testing time.
Students also need a nutritious breakfast. A high protein breakfast is the best, Lane noted, because it lasts the longest.
The principals also urge no television watching an hour before bedtime.
Parents also need to stress to their children the importance of doing their best.
