By Jan Schultz The Imperial Republican Last week, a Holyoke, Colo., woman was bound over to Chase County District Court on three charges related to thefts of cash at Chase County Schools. Police Chief Rob Browning said he arrested Alisha Warner on Feb. 28. She appeared in county court last Wednesday, when the case was sent to District Court. Browning said the police department set up surveillance cameras at the school after several teachers began noticing cash was missing from their desks, and reported it to administration. Warner, who was a substitute custodian at CCS, was later arrested. Four to five teachers were affected, Browning said. Around $500 was tallied in missing cash. Warner is charged with burglary, possession of burglar’s tools and theft by unlawful taking.
