The Sandhills Symphony Orchestra will present “A Touch O’ Green,” at the Performing Arts Center at the North Platte High School Sunday at 3 p.m. CT. The concert celebrates Irish music, composers, and music inspired in some way by the color green. The Sandhills Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit orchestra that exists to promote symphonic orchestral music in south-central Nebraska. Musicians are volunteers who give of their time and talents so that others may enjoy great live music. For over 50 years the orchestra has presented concerts free-of-charge in central, and has relied on the donations of generous patrons to make these concerts possible.
