The Imperial Bible Church Ladies Retreat will be held at the church at 800 W. 11th Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Featured speaker is Nebraska author Stephanie Grace Whitson. With the release of “The Key on the Quilt” last spring, she now has over 20 novels and two non-fiction books to her credit. Her books have appeared on best-seller lists and been finalists for the Christy Award and Foreward Magazine’s Book of the Year.
In addition to a talk by Whitson, five mini-sessions will be offered. They are “Trusting the Potter’s Hand,” “Desires of the Heart,” “The Ultimate Pursuit” “You be the Potter and Create a Memory” and “Global Missions.”
Coffee and rolls, a luncheon and a dessert are included in the $15 fee for “Just a Lump of Clay,” the theme for the retreat.
