Forty-nine from CCS take part in junior high music clinic PDF Print E-mail

More than 200 junior high students from the six SPVA Conference schools took part in the annual SPVA junior high music clinic Tuesday at Chase County Schools.
Among the group from Chase County Schools were 25 vocalists and another 24 in the band clinic.
The band played selections from “At Sight March” arr. by Larry Clark; “The Water is Wide” arr. by James Swearingen; “Superheroes R Us” arr. by Michael Story; and “The Secrets of McDougal’s Cave” by Ed Huckeby.
The chorus sang “Chili Caliente” by David Giardiniere; “Aurora Borealis (A Song of Alaska)” by Amy F. Bernon; “Mungu Ni Pendo” arr. by Robert Gower; and “Why We Sing” by Jerry Estes.
Here are the 49 students from Chase County who participated.
