Robot to repeat performance PDF Print E-mail

The Chase County Schools high school robotics team of Suzy Kasselman and Brady Gittlein came in 19th out of 21 teams at the recent VEX robotics competition in Aurora Jan. 12. According to teacher Kim Wilson, they had to make continuous adjustments during the day to improve their design. The robot is to pick up bean bags and place them in a 15-foot long trough on a playing field. Wilson said the students learned a lot during competition. The team plans to attend a meet involving 100 teams at Omaha Benson High School in two weeks. The VEX Robotics kit was given to the students by Nebraska Public Power District. (Courtesy photo)
