Nineteen businesses to participate in Ag Tech Fair PDF Print E-mail

Area farmers, ranchers and businessmen should take note of the Imperial Chamber of Commerce’s Ag Technology Fair, scheduled for next Wednesday, Jan. 16.
Area producers will have the chance to visit with business owners/reps including crop consultants, seed specialists, equipment dealers and more.
The Ag Technology Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Patrick Parish Hall at 740 Broadway.
In addition, Chairman Dave  Oxford said SW Four Extension Educator Robert Tigner will speak about crop budgeting during a 30-minute speech at 1 p.m.
The purpose of the Ag Technology Fair is to recognize and thank local farmers and ranchers who support the local business community, and to provide those producers with an opportunity to be informed of the cutting-edge technology available.
The Chamber is providing a free lunch beginning at 11 a.m., served by the St. Patrick Altar Society.
2013 participating businesses are: AACE Wash Systems, AgWest Commodities, B.T.’s Quality Machine & Fabrication; Crop Production Services, DSK Irrigation, Frenchman Valley Coop, Great Plains Communications, Lindskov Ag, Mid-Plains Community College;
Upper Republican NRD; Groff Ag; Prairie States Communications; Pioneer Hybrids; Helena Chemical; 21st Century Equipment LLC; Titan Machinery; USDA Service Center; Valley Pro Irrigation and Serv­itech.
Over 150 people attended the event last year.
