PTO contributes to speech room PDF Print E-mail

With funds left over from last year’s Parent-Teacher Organization’s (PTO) book sale, the ESU #15 Speech Language Services room at Chase County Schools was able to purchase $200 worth of books of poetry, chapter books, books with CDs and early reader books recently.
“The books were chosen with current students in mind,” according to teacher Cindy Bahler. PTO President Tonya Wilson said the organization donated book credit to teachers at CCS last year, as well as to the school library. The PTO receives both cash and book credit from Scholastic Books for holding the book sale. Shown with the books are, from left, Elementary Principal Pat Lane, Bahler, Wilson, PTO Vice President Lori Lane, aide Letitia Munson and Karen Salyer of the ESU. (Republican photo)
