FCCLA attends district conference PDF Print E-mail

Thirty-six members of the Chase County Chapter of Family, Career, Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) attended the District 11 Conference held on the Mid-Plains Community College McCook campus Nov. 7. Chase County junior David Almanza was initiated as a district officer and will serve as District 11 vice president for the 2012-2013 school year. Those attending the conference were challenged by keynote speaker Maile Ilac Boeder to find their heartbeat and passion in life and become leaders with character and integrity. They also attended mini-sessions on self-defense, Zumba, healthy relationships, bullying, dating violence, blood donation and teen finances.
