Pair of FBLA Veteran’s Day programs coming Monday PDF Print E-mail

The annual Veteran’s Day program presented by the FBLA chapter at Chase County Schools will be held on Nov. 12 at the school auditorium.
There will be two programs again this year. The first program will be at 10 a.m. and will be presented to grade 7-12 grade students. The second program will take place at 1 p.m. and will be presented to grade K-6 grade students.
The public is invited to attend, especially honored servicemen or women, said FBLA Advisor Sandy O’Neil.
Any military serviceman or woman who would like to stay and eat lunch at the cafeteria that day is welcome and FBLA will pick up the tab. They are asked to call the school secretaries at 882-4304 so a count can be made for extra lunches that day.
Veterans picture Monday
All veterans in the Imperial, Champion, Lamar and Enders areas are invited to take part in a group photo taken by The Imperial Republican staff on Monday, at 9 a.m., prior to the FBLA’s morning program.
The photo will be taken on the steps of the county courthouse. If inclement weather, it will be moved to inside Chase County Schools.
The photo will be used in the newspaper’s Veteran’s Day recognition in the Nov. 15 issue.
