Girl Scouts to be out
Saturday for pantry donations

Members of the Imperial Girls Scouts and leaders will be out in Imperial Saturday afternoon collecting for Chase County Pantry donations.
The Scouts will be making door-to-door collections from 3 to 5 p.m. The pantry has low supplies at the current time so all types of contributions are welcome, said Sue Moore, president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary which is working with the Scouts on the drive.
The drive is being done in light of the recent observance of Make a Difference Day on Oct. 27. Moore said that observance is known as the largest national day of community service.
