This year the Imperial FBLA chapter attended Fall Leadership Conference in Kearney. There were 10 members and chapter advisor, Sandy O’Neil who attended this conference on Sept. 25.
It was a fun filled day with an opening by the state officers sharing the Nebraska State 2012-2013 goals-acronym S.H.I.N.E.
The keynote speaker was Patrick George, a fun, energetic speaker who kept youths interested in what he had to say. George talked about setting high goals for yourself throughout life, and how stumbling and falling is part of the journey.
After the talk, students broke down into smaller sections for officer workshops, member workshops and advisor workshops. After lunch, the group broke up again into another workshop.
The Fall Leadership Conference this year was an exciting time to learn and meet other members and chapters from around this area of the state.
