Backdrop, costumes enhance ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ PDF Print E-mail

“Annie Get Your Gun” was presented by the CCS high school choral department last weekend, and those attending were treated to great scenery and colorful costumes. Above, in the opening scene, the cast, led by Dolly Tate (Anna Bauerle), sings “There’s No Business Like Show Business” with the large Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show backdrop highlighted in the background. Below left, Charlie Davenport (Jake Lueth) tries to convince innkeeper Foster Wilson (Sabrina Hayes) to let Frank Butler and Annie Oakley have a shoot-out in front of her business. Below right, it was love at first sight for Annie (Elizabeth Tomky), after first meeting Butler (Justin German). The two had a rocky start to their relationship as they fought for superiority on the shooting range. (Republican photos)
