Dr. Jose Garcia is no longer a member of the medical staff at the Chase County Community Hospital and Clinic.
At the direction of the board of trustees, Garcia was dismissed effective Tuesday, Oct. 16, according to Lola Jones, hospital administrator.
Jones said Garcia was dismissed for violations of his employment contract with the hospital.
Jones said other providers at the Imperial and Wauneta clinics will be seeing Garcia’s patients.
