Pick a patch of pumpkins PDF Print E-mail

The Cox’s Ponds pumpkin patch was packed to the peak with visitors this past weekend. Ninety pony rides alone were given on Sunday. Popcorn was popped, pictures were taken, songs were sung and, of course, pumpkins and gourds were purchased. This is the 27th year that the Cox and Cupp families have hosted the event, which also includes a corn maze, hayrack rides, face painting and more. The activities are held in and around Cox’s Ponds. At left, Cruz Kimball and Noah Briggs, both one and one-half years old, enjoyed finding their size of pumpkins. Below,  little Dietrich Pursley found all of the action just too exhausting.
