The Friends of the Lied Imperial Public Library have planned a “gently used” book sale for Oct. 24-29. The sale will be held in the meeting room during the Library’s regular hours, beginning at 10 a.m. each day.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the library.
Anyone may donate used books, preferably not encyclopedias. The books may be dropped off at the library from Oct. 19-22.
Quilt show
A quilt show will be held in February at Lied Imperial Public Library. People are urged to begin thinking about donating quilts, quilted  items and accessories to this fundraiser for the library.
More information concerning the quilt show will be given later.
