Youths reign at talent show PDF Print E-mail

The top three acts at the “Got Talent” talent show during the Chases County Fair were comprised of young girls. Taking first place was Lindi Johnson of McCook with a vocal number.
Second place was Country Girls, consisting of Jerzee Milner, Jordan Jablonski, Lucy Spady and Sophie Spady of Imperial with a dance number.
Third place was taken by Glitter, Sparkle & Shine, comprised of Ashlie Benge, Kora Weiss, Ryley Vrbas, Jerzee Milner, Jordan Jablonski and Morayah Cupp, with rope jumping act.
Prizes were $250 and a trip for first place, $150 for second place and $100 for third place.
Sponsored in part by KADL and High Plains Radio, the talent contest attracted 14 acts this year.
Besides the above mentioned, they included Morayah Cupp of Champion; Dee Sullivan of Wray, Colo.; Debra Tidwell of Imperial; Bonnie Cochran and John Robinson of Thornton, Colo.; Del Rehn of Wauneta; Will Kuenne, Jim Sims and Ike Maxwell of Imperial; Cindy Hudson of Wauneta; Gesele Zarzana of Imperial; Ansley Wood of Imperial; Phalen Sanford of Benkelman; and Jill Pankonin and Shalissa Bigham of Imperial.
