By Carolyn Lee The Imperial Republican About 75 youths and adults smashed, tugged and twisted frozen t-shirts in a struggle to open up the solid balls during the Chase County Fair’s Frozen T-Shirt contest. The first one to put on a shirt was Liz Mollendor, helped out by husband David and Terri Dillan. Their secret was to pour water on the frozen ball. Mollendor was given tickets to a fair event as a prize. Everyone got to keep their t-shirts. The event was sponsored in part by PST and Hegwood Trenching, Inc.
