Alumni directors named for upcoming May banquet PDF Print E-mail
    Plans are underway for the annual alumni banquet for graduates of Chase County High School.
    Classes ending in “9” will be honored at this year’s banquet set for May 23 at the high school. The class directors are as follows:
    1939—Joan Wenzlick, 882-5235
    1949—Guy Curtis and Liz Creveling, 882-5569.
    1959—Karen Welch and Alice Lindekugel, 882-5228.
    1969—Kathy Loring and Tonda McGarr, 882-4960 or 882-2220.
    1979—Lori Beard, 882-4741.
    1989—Marilee Wallin, 882-4958.
    1999—Candace Schilke, 882-6605.
    Members of this year’s honor classes who plan to attend the banquet should get in contact with their class director for dinner reservations, which are $15 each.
    Anyone who is not an honor class member but would like to attend can contact Jeanette Munger, 882-5485, or Jacque Banks, 882-1415, for reservations.
    A bus tour of the community is again planned, organized by the Imperial Community Foundation for 1 p.m. on May 23. Jason Kimble will be handling the sound at the banquet this year.
    During the meeting March 9, it was announced the 1971 class composite has been repaired, and is back hanging at the school.
    Next alumni banquet meeting for officers and directors will be held May 4.
